Hi there! I am so glad you stopped by to see what I have been up to! I did not really had a chance to get too creative last week. I was ill for the first 4 days of the week and spent most of the weekend in a Machine Embroidery class/conference. I had so much fun there and met so many wonderful people. It is always so nice to be around people who love the same things you do.
I did purchase a few (way too many) embroidery patterns. Now to find the time to make something with them! Here are a couple of my favorites.
I love gnomes and plan on making a quilt using the various patterns that came with this package. Sorry for the blurry photos – I snapped a photo of a sample they had.
It is hard to believe, but this is all stitching. I can’t even imagine how many stitches are in this! I would guess about 400,000. This will take me a long time to finish – I need to start as soon as Christmas is over.
I am busy with Christmas projects. I have been embroidering these lace pieces that will eventually become parts of a table cloth. I have 5 of them and need 2 more. Then make a round linen table cloth and attach them and cut out the back of the lace piece.
My daughter and I enjoy having Tea Time on Sunday, so I decided to make these tea/luncheon napkins. They are based on some vintage napkins that I purchased at a yard sale. I love the little acorn on them and think they are perfect for fall.
As far as working will any type of wool, I have to admit I have not accomplished much. I am only a couple rows further than I was last week with my daughter’s afghan. Note to self – get busy with the afghan!
I hope you have a wonderful week! I look forward to stopping by your #WIP Wednesday post and seeing what you are up to!
