Peanut butter dog treats are a healthy and homemade treat your dog will love.
As you may know, we are following clean eating way of eating now. We are eating foods with little or no preservatives or chemicals in them. Eating clean/real foods is, what we feel, the best for our bodies.
So, I felt it was only right to offer my sweet dog treats that are healthy also. She is aging and is beginning to have some health issues. I want to make sure she is at her best.
I knew that I wanted to make my pup’s biscuits as healthy as possible, so I decided to try rice flour instead of white flour. You can purchase rice flour in many stores. Look in the health food section.
You can also purchase a food mill like I did. I have had mine for a few years and love it. I purchased a Wonder Mill Grain Grinder and I am an affiliate for the company – that is how much I love it.
My Wonder Mill and it worked like a dream. In minutes I had the finest rice flour I had ever seen! I used inexpensive white rice and turned it into something that I would have paid $5.00 to $8.00 for!

Daisy is very happy with her peanut butter dog treats! Her little tail wags with enthusiasm when she sees me with one. I think I may have to bag a few up and hand them out as gifts to her doggies friends!
I am a lover of great food, gardening, quilting and all things that make my house a home.
