Father’s Day Gift Ideas for the Dad who loves to read (or grill, or build or play sports).
Walking inside a Barnes and Noble bookstore is one of my favorite things to do. I could easily spend hours there. The first thing that happens when I open the door is that I get hit with the wonderful smell of books. I really don’t think there is a better smell than that (well, cooking onions smells pretty good too).
Once I have inhaled the wonderful scent of books, I begin to walk up and down the rows of books. I love to let my fingers run across the books. I often let my intuition lead me to the book that will be perfect for me. Once I find that book, I find a one of the soft and comfortable chairs to make myself comfortable and then begin to get to know my new friend.
I believe strongly that I got my love of reading from my Father. A book was either in his hand or next to his bed or favorite place in the den. I can see him sitting on the sofa in our family home with a book in his hand. His leg would be crossed and there was a look on his face that told me he was loving what he was reading
Do you have a Father who loves to grill? Does he love History? How about Sports or being a handy tool guy? Then I have a great list of books that your Dad will love. I am so happy to partnership with Barnes and Noble to bring this list of page turning books to you.
When you scroll through this list and see a book you think your Dad might like, click on the photo and you will be directed to Barnes and Noble. You can take a peek inside the book and you will get a great price if you decide to order it online.
A few Father’s Day Gift Ideas your Dad will love
I am sure that you have found a couple great books your Dad will love. I think that my Father would love all of them. Heck, I am really interested in a few of them too. Maybe I will spoil myself!
Remember, you can click on the image of the book and it will take you straight to Barnes and Noble. Once there, you can read a few pages of many of the books, just to make sure it is the right one for your Dad.
