Although I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, I also spend time gardening, decorating, sewing, embroidering, knitting and crocheting. Oh yeah, I am busy learning photography too!
I thought I would share this side of me with you. My hope is that you will get to know me better and I can get to know you better.
So to start off, I am going to share a few sewing projects that I have been working on.
This is a pillow cover I embroidered for a neighbor of mine. She has the cutest little Yorkie named, Peanut. Peanut and my pup are great friends! My neighbor will pick up my mail and newspapers while I am out of town. She will even care for my sweet baby bird.
I purchased an embroidery machine a year ago and have had so much fun with it. This is one of the patterns I have put on a dishtowel.
Not too long ago, I saw a tutorial about making an apron from a man’s shirt. Here is what I came up with! I think it came out pretty good. What do you think?
I hope you will follow me while I share more of my life with you. I would love it if you would tell me a little about yourself too!
I am a lover of great food, gardening, quilting and all things that make my house a home.
