Big and I returned from San Francisco late last evening and I have not yet recovered! I woke up this morning realizing I needed to not only post about, but cook a meal from my Surprise Recipe Swap partner.
My lovely friend Jutta from Hungry Little Girl, gave me the blog address of my swap partner in the beginning of February. I kept telling myself that I needed to search my partner’s blog (Sew What’s Cooking With Joan) before leaving for San Francisco. Did I do it?
I think you may know the answer to that!
Needless to say, I am not only cooking from Sew What’s Cooking With Joan’s blog at the last minute, I am blogging about it also!
It is what happens when you go on vacation!
I am so excited to have been partnered with Joan this month! If you follow my blog, or my facebook page, you know that I not only host my own party, In and Out of the Kitchen, but I co-host Foodie Friends Friday. It is through Foodie Friends Friday, that I first knew of Joan.
Joan has so many wonderful recipes on her blog. I would have loved to make most of them.
Tonight I made a version of her Pepperoni Pinwheels. I made these because I am tired and I had the ingredients in the house. I am just saying, who doesn’t have puff pastry, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni in the house?
Here is Joan’s version!
I made mine a little different than Joan. I used Hormel sliced Pepperoni and little fresh mozzarella cheese. The puff pastry was from Pepperidge Farm. Talk about easy!
These were great and I would definitely make them again! Thanks Joan for the inspiration!
