I have been bad about blogging for the past few days. My daughter, The Baby, has been home for the past couple weeks and I have been enjoying time with her. She will go back to college next week and things will quiet down again.
While my daughter was young, I was lucky enough to homeschool her. I loved every minute of my time with her. I always wondered why it was called homeschooling, it seemed we were always on the road to some event or class or something else.
Early on in my daughters home education, I was given a few recipes that I was told would be “lifesavers”. At that time, I wasn’t sure what was meant by that. As the years went on, I realized I needed “lifesaver” recipes. Sticky Chicken became not only a lifesaver, but a family favorite.
The nicest thing about this recipe is that it can cook for half a day. You can pop it in the oven and practically forget about it for the day.
