St. Patrick’s Day is one of those fun holidays that I enjoy decorating for. I have a wee bit o’ Irish in me, so I think I am allowed to go a little crazy with the decorating, baking and cooking! Just saying!
Of course, no one wants to spend a lot of money when decorating (especially me) so I was excited when I made my weekly trip to Dollar Tree and found some great St. Patrick’s Day items that I could work with.
One of the items I enjoy using when decorating for any holiday is wreaths. This year, I have two! A small one that hangs in the entry way of my home and one that will hang on the front door.
Both of the wreaths were made with Dollar Tree Items. The biggest difference the the base of the wreath. The grapevine base is larger and came from Michaels.
I paid $.50 for the small glitter wreath. It was a lucky find after Christmas. The hats, coins and pot-o-gold were purchased in packages that had multiple items. That brought the cost of each item to pennies. Paying less than $1.00 for a wreath is great!
The process was not complicated. All I did was heat up my trusty glue gun and stick the items where I wanted them. Here is the final product!
The grapevine wreath was made the same as the small tinsel one. Again, I purchased the base at Michaels on sale, I think I paid less than $3.00 for it. I also had some light green tulle, that I decided to wrap around it.
I look forward to hanging these great inexpensive wreaths! Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s Day? I would love to see what you come up with!
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to seeing you soon.
