Shhh…don’t tell anyone, but I am a voyeur, or should I say a Peeping Mom? I love peeping into other people homes and seeing how they decorate . I love seeing the floor plan of homes. I love taking ideas from many of these homes and bringing them into my own home. Are you the same? Do you love to see what is behind the front door?
I think this
sickness obsession craziness enjoyment began many years ago when my Father and Mother became Real Estate agents. I loved going with my Mom to open houses and helping her measure and take photos. I eventually got my Real Estate license and was overjoyed to think that I could help people find their dream home (I was pretty happy that I got to peep in other peoples homes too!)
Today, I along with my good blogging friends Susan from Organized 31, Holly from Coconut Head’s Survival Guide and Corrine from Wondermom Wannabe are sharing a peek into our homes. We will be sharing views of different rooms in our homes each month. This month we are sharing our Master Bathrooms. So grab a cup of tea and a cookie or two and enjoy a Peep into our homes!
I love the double doors that lead from the bedroom to the bathroom.
This is the view that you see when you walk in the Master Bath. Love the soaker tub!
Greenery is a part of my bathroom decor. I enjoy bringing the outside in. The overall feel of this bathroom is that of an outdoor space.
Where ever you look in my home, you will find Gnomes. I love these little guys and they make their appearance in every room in my home.
The chair in the corner is one that I have been lugging around for about 6 years. I finally got around to painting it and making a cover for it. Having a chair in the bathroom makes it easy to put on your socks and shoes!
These light blue towels with embroidered French Bumble Bees are my favorite! (I won’t let Big dry with them!)
The French Bumble Bee theme continues with the shower curtain. There is a small shower stall behind the curtain. I love the shower, but not the way it looks. These curtains cover up what I don’t like. You also get a small peek of the “private” room!
We have a double sink, which I love. Both Big and I can get ready at the same time without having to bump into each other. I hope to soon have granite or marble countertops. Also, I will be painting the cabinets soon too.
A bird bath soap holder, antique jar with Q-tips and a Victorian Hair Jar are on a old Ironstone platter.
I love this Victorian Hair Jar. The Victorians would put their hair in this jar and then use the hair for Art! I own a couple of these, but this one is my favorite. It is made from hand painted china.
Just one more view before I go! I fell in love with the cloche when I saw it at a wonderful little store in downtown Fredericksburg. I added a little bird, some greenery and of course a little gnome.
I hope you all will take a few minutes to stop by and visit my great blogging friends and see what their Master Baths look like. Come on, you know you are a Peeping Mom, just like me!
Stop by and visit Susan from Orgainzed 31 and check out her Master Bath!
