Menu Plan Monday #49 – great recipes your family and your wallet will love.
Here it is Monday again! The summer seems to be slipping by so quickly. There are so many things that I have wanted to accomplish, that I just haven’t gotten time to do. Do you feel that way?
I began to paint my den about 4 weeks ago and I have still not finished it! Has that ever happened to you? I keep looking at it and thinking that it needs to get done and then I focus on something else. I swear I will make time to get it done this week.
This week I am making a couple of family favorites. Dirty Rice is one of them. If you have been following me, you know that I can’t seem to get enough food with heat. I think Big is beginning to get tired of it, but I am the cook and the menu planner, so I get to decide. Most of my recipes can be made for around $5.00 per meal. I am a frugal sort of girl and love to save money while feeding my family.

Tuesday: Dirty Rice, green beans
Wednesday: Grilled tilapia, grilled veggies, corn bread

Do you menu plan? I have for so many years and I find that it really saves me time and money. Here are a couple of posts that will help you figure out how to menu plan.
