If you have been a follower of Feeding Big for any length of time, you know that I homeschooled my daughter. We began our homeschool journey when she finished 2nd grade and kept it up through high school graduation! Both my daughter and I loved homeschooling and I know that when she has little ones, she will do her best to homeschool them also!
Now, please don’t get me wrong, there were times when I thought I may fail her in a specific area. I think all homeschooling families have the same worry. At those times, we Moms go out and find a great place for our child/children to learn what we can’t give them. I wish I would have known about Language Stars back when Taylor Ann was younger!
Language Stars is a play-driven foreign language class for kids between the ages of 1 and 10 years old. Utilizing a high-energy, FunImmersion® method of instruction, students learn a foreign language through games, art projects, music and more. There are 7 locations in the DC/NoVA/MD area. It was voted “Best Foreign Language Instruction for Kids” by, Washington Family Magazine readers.
Language Stars is hosting Open House Weeks in all 15 centers from January 6-January 18. During this time, parents can take their children to one free class — and if they attend, they’ll get a $10 iTunes gift card. Plus, if a new family enrolls during the Open House Weeks, they’ll get $100 off their tuition.
I hope you will take a few minutes to stop by the Language Stars site. Their curriculum is really impressive and I am sure you will find learning theme that you child will love
With 7 locations in the D.C. area, I am sure you can find one that is close to home and will help your child with that all important second language.
I am a lover of great food, gardening, quilting and all things that make my house a home.
