Halloween Place Cards are a fun addition to your dinner table. These place cards are not only fun to make, they are really inexpensive too!
All you need is:
Card Stock (1 or two sheets – doesn’t matter what color)
Here is how you do it:
1.) Go to your computer, find a photo of yourself and the family members
2.) Print the photo in black and white (try to get more than one photo on a page to save on paper)
3.) Roughly cut out the photo and clue it on a piece of card stock that is the same size
4.) Light your candle and burn the edges. Let the smoke from the flame discolor the copy of the photo.
That is it! As I said, this is a quick, easy and inexpensive Halloween craft. Kids would enjoy this craft also, just make sure an adult is around to burn the edges of the photo. I suggest keeping a glass of water close by. I also kept a damp paper towel handy to put out any red/hot edges.
We thought this was such fun family craft, we made “antiqued” photos of our animals too! They are a new part of our Halloween mantel.
