Welcome back to the Living Big on Less Money Series! I am so glad you are here. If you have never been to this series before, let me tell you a little about it. A few months ago, the government decided to cut back on Big’s pay. As a matter of fact, there was a few weeks when we lived on no income! Instead of panicking, I went on a hunt to remind myself of great ways to live on less money. There are so many great ideas out there that I decided to create a spot for people to share those ideas. I hope you will find something here that will help you save a little. Got a great tip? Share it here and I will pin it and share on other social media platforms!
We have a pretty packed freezer. I often run to the grocery store that is down the street and look for the meat that they mark down. I get all that I can afford, knowing that meat will not last long. I do have to be aware of the freezer life of that meat too. Although foods will never go bad in the freezer, they will start to loose quality over time. To avoid freezer burn and other issues, follow this chart. You can print this and attach to your pantry door or place it in a homemaking notebook.
You can print this reference by clicking HERE. Next week I will share the freezer life of Leftovers! No more wasting food!
