Easy corn dog muffins are fun for a weekend dinner, lunch or a snack. They take about 30 minutes from beginning to end to make. I am sharing a list of the tools I used to make these, they are affiliate links and I will make a small commission if you buy something.
When my daughter was younger, one of the things she really loved to eat was hot dogs. I can still remember asking her what she wanted for dinner and knowing the answer would be hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Trust me, I got pretty tired of them. So I decided to try something new.
Creating this recipe was so easy. All you do is make a box of cornbread mix and add a couple of sliced up hot dogs. Back then, I thought I had created this recipe, but I am seeing it pop up on the internet and on Pinterest, so I know was not the first to make them.
These corn dog muffins won’t last long so I would suggest making a couple batches. Pop the leftovers, if there are any, in the freezer and pull them out when you have a few hungry little ones begging for a snack.
