During the holiday season, I make sure I spread cheer with simple surprises. One way I do that is to get the cookies in the oven right before my family comes home. They are always happily surprised when the smell the sweet smell of cookies baking.
While I was in Walmart picking up my weekly groceries, I saw the Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie and Peanut Butter Cookie mix and decided to pick them both up. Betty Crocker has been around for so many years. I know that I can trust that my cookies will turn out perfect when I use one of her baking mixes.
Of course, making the cookies according to the directions guarantees a a perfect cookie every time, but when I want to gather my family together, I add a little extra.
In my home, we love to host a game night. We always have great snacks and lots of fun. I decided to give my Chocolate Dipped Sugar cookie recipe a try. Let me tell you, the cookies were out of the oven and on the plate in no time. They were also gone in no time!
Betty Crocker has come to the rescue so many times in my home. When my daughter was younger, I counted on these cookie mixes for many Girl Scout, 4-H meetings and play dates to bring smiles to my face. I loved the fact that the mixes are easy and inexpensive too! I never felt I was breaking the budget.
