There have always been frozen dinners in my freezer. Yes, I am a person who loves to cook and will go out of my way to place a home-cooked meal on the table. But, lets admit it, we all have days, when cooking is just not an option.
I home schooled my daughter and we often spent more time on the road going from one event to another. Needless to say, there were days when there was just no time to cook. I wish I would have known about Healthy Choice Dinners then!
Frozen dinners made an appearance when I was young, that was a long time ago. Way back then, we had few choices and they all tasted pretty much the same. They were orange and tasted like cardboard!
Welcome to the new age of frozen dinners. Healthy Choice Dinners are made with the freshest ingredients. The vegetables are crisp and taste like they just came from the garden. The meat is tender and cooked to perfection!
I am impressed by the fact that the Health Choice Dinners are low in calories, salt and fat. Did you know they even have Weight Watches Points listed on the back of the box? I was happy to read that between Healthy Choice frozen meals and Marie Callender frozen meals, there are over 80 meals with less than 400 calories!
Yesterday was a day full of errands for me. I just couldn’t think about cooking. I pulled out my Healthy Choice Asian Inspired dinners and within minutes had a flavorful and delicious meal to feed my family. I have to admit, I was sneaky and placed the meal on a decorative plate and passed it off as my own. No one guessed it was a Healthy Choice meal!
I recently got my 21 year old college senior to try Health Choice meals. She can easily pop them in the microwave in her dorm and know that she is eating healthy and making a smart choice for her body.
