Well, Christmas is over.  The presents have been torn open and the gifts are already being enjoyed.

My Mother is winging her way back to Texas, perhaps as you read this!  In a few days, my daughter will be driving back to school for her final semester of college.

What does all of this mean?  It means, life is getting back to normal.  What ever that may mean!

I am busy working on my goals for 2013, are you?  One goal of mine is to build my readership, not just numbers.  I am hoping you all will stick around and become “friends” and not just “acquaintances”.  I would love that.

My blog will not just be about food anymore.  I am going to share a little more of myself with you.  You may read recipes, see my latest sewing/quilting project, or perhaps hear a rant or two!

I am in the process of changing my header!  I am so happy with it – the problem is, only part of it shows!  I am working on this.  Please be patient.   Thanks so much.

I am sharing with you my five top recipes of 2012.  It will be my final post of the year!

I hope you will take a few minutes to click on the recipe title and drool over the recipe.  Perhaps you will even decide to make one of the recipes!  If you do, I would love to hear about it.

Thanks for stopping by and please come back.  There are great plans for the future in the making.
