Hot and Yummy Black Bean Chili
Serves 6 (ish)
Ingredients:
1 pound ground Turkey
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 chopped onion
2 jalapeno, chopped
1 poblano pepper, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can (15 oz) black beans (I do not rinse them – you can)
1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup frozen corn (may use canned)
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Hot Paprika
1 Teaspoon Cumin
1/2 Teaspoon Coriander
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Powder
1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
Grated cheese (for Topping)
Sour Cream (For topping)
Directions:
In a large saucepan, cook onion, garlic, and peppers until onion is translucent. Add ground turkey and cook until turkey is done.
Transfer ground turkey mixture to a large crockpot and add all of the spices, the beans, the tomatoes and the corn. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.


















I totally LOVE left overs, I feel the flavors have had a chance to settle in and it makes the food even more delicious the next day. And chili is my FAVORITE I have been craving it so bad. I will definitely be trying this recipe. Thanks for sharing
